Having looked into the Bissel Steam cleaner, I have discovered one that does bare floors the Bissell 1867. What floors does it works on? This Bissell 1867 mop works on marble, laminate, linoleum, sealed hardwood, stone and ceramic making it one of the most flexible mops around!
If you like the idea of cleaning without harsh chemicals and without having to wear protective gloves or getting down on your knees scrubbing in every little crevice you might want to look into this one. I have recently come across someone who actually wasn't that pleased with her 1867 saying it didn't clean the grout - I think she would have been better of getting the spot bot 1200b, which appears the more powerful steam cleaner.
