The Bissel Steam Cleaners are great if you prefer using natural steams to harsh, fumed filled, chemical detergents.
Bissell steam mop does sanitize the floors, but remember unless you get one of the hands-free bissell cleaners like the 1200b spot bot, using the normal Bissell steam cleaner you will have to hold it in place for 10-15 seconds to achieve the sanitizing effect.
The Bissell steam mop is great because it can be used on a variety of different flooring such as marble,stone, ceramic, vinyl, laminate, linoleum and sealed hardwood floors.
